What is the purpose of the Hyperbaric Chamber (HBOT)?

A hyperbaric chamber is a medical device used to treat a variety of medical conditions by increasing the amount of oxygen that can be delivered to the body's tissues. It is a sealed chamber that can be pressurized to levels greater than atmospheric pressure, allowing a person to breathe pure oxygen at higher concentrations than they would be able to in normal air.

The increased pressure and oxygen levels in the hyperbaric chamber can promote the healing of wounds, fight infections, and improve circulation. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) has been used to treat conditions such as decompression sickness (the bends), carbon monoxide poisoning, severe infections, burns, and non-healing wounds, among others. It is also used in some sports medicine settings to speed up recovery after injuries.

Overall, the purpose of the hyperbaric chamber is to provide a safe and controlled environment for delivering increased levels of oxygen to the body, which can have therapeutic benefits for certain medical conditions.
