Overview and Symptoms

In addition to reviewing your medical history and a physical exam, your physician will order one or more of the diagnostic procedures:

  • X-ray
  • MRI
  • CT or CAT scan
  • Arthroscopy which is a minimally invasive procedure on a joint to examine and sometimes treatment damage
  • Radionuclide bone scan which uses a very small amount of radioactive material to examine blood flow to the bone and cell activity within the bone

Our hand and wrist specialists will customize a treatment and rehab plan that is right for you. Your condition may require a cast, simple icing of affected area, or a more complex procedure. Whatever the case, our physicians are committed to helping you return to your normal life as quickly and safely as possible.
